Is X-TACK easy to apply?

Yes, X-Tack comes in a cartridge form with a “V Groove” nozzle, making it easy to apply, however it is an incredibly viscos product, so we recommend a heavy duty TEC7 cartridge gun, Tec7 Multigun or electric caulking gun to dispense the adhesive. Apply X-Tack holding the caulking gun perpendicular to the bonding surface, thus leaving behind a smooth and consistent triangle shaped bead.

Does X-TACK require any special surface preparation?

It is recommended to clean and degrease the surface before applying X-TACK for optimal adhesion. Remove any loose particles or substances that may hinder the bond. TEC7 has a range of surface preparation cleaners depending on your application. Feel free to contact Olmurtech for advice, on what to use for surface preparation of your application.
