In order for Tec7 to maintain its gold standard within the MS hybrid polymer adhesive and sealant industry for decades to come, Tec7 for the first time in its history is introducing a major change in its technology called nTec Polymer Technology.
Conceived and continuously developed by Tec7 lab scientists, this cutting-edge technology represents a significant step forward in both performance and sustainability. It has been designed in response to new global standards and directly addresses the most common challenges faced by professionals today, ensuring that Tec7 continues to lead the way in professional adhesives.

nTec Polymer Technology provides 15 to 30% better adhesion, depending on the materials. This advancement means that nTec-based adhesives offer stronger bonding across a wider variety of substrates, including traditionally difficult materials such as metals and composites. The improved adhesion ensures durability and reliability, particularly in demanding environments such as outdoor applications, where bonding failure can result in costly downtime.

nTec Polymer Technology dramatically improves curing times. One of the most time-consuming aspects of adhesive application is waiting for the product to reach workable bond strength, especially in demanding environments. Tec7 has addressed this by reducing curing time by 2 to 4 times.

One of the key features of nTec is its significantly improved adhesion strength. Thanks to the new, modern polymer platform and optimised polymer composition, Tec7 has improved adhesion strength by 15–30%, depending on the bonded materials. The maximum tensile strength is now an impressive 380kg per 10cm², making it an exceptionally strong mounting adhesive that works on wet surfaces.
With nTec, Tec7 has increased elastic recovery from 50% to an impressive 80–90%. This means that nTec adhesives can handle much greater stresses, and consequently a longer lifespan can be guaranteed.
nTec Polymer Technology is designed to be a reliable partner in all conditions. Traditional adhesives often struggle to cure in cold conditions, but nTec’s unique composition ensures that it already cures and builds strength at temperatures as low as -10°C. At just 5°C, nTec cures at the same speed as traditional polymer adhesives do at room temperature (23°C), offering unrivalled capabilities in cold weather applications.
nTec Polymer Technology offers smoother application and tooling, facilitating faster and cleaner results. This improvement aligns with industry trends towards adhesives that are easier to apply and manipulate, reducing labour time and enhancing user experience.
nTec adhesives are formulated to meet evolving environmental and health standards, developed with cutting-edge technology for a safer, greener product. Tec7 cartridges are now manufactured from recycled materials, ensuring further sustainability throughout the supply chain and supporting customers in making environmentally conscious choices.
As industries become more aware of their environmental impact, the need for more environmentally friendly materials has grown significantly. With numerous environmental and health certificates, Tec7 is known to be one of the most sustainable adhesives on the market. With its new formulation, Tec7 continues this trend and offers the healthiest and most environmentally friendly adhesive technology on the market.

Before polymer adhesives hit the shelves, they are usually stored in foil bags made of an aluminium and PE laminate, allowing a shelf life of 18 months. The shelf life of Tec7 with nTec Polymer Technology remains 18 months, however the foil bags have become redundant — lowering material use and reducing waste. As of February 2025, Tec7 cartridges are manufactured from recycled materials, ensuring further sustainability throughout the supply chain.
